For art, history, the living culture of Vietnam — and for Huế itself.
We wanted a place that belongs to Huế, where guests, back from the marvels of the City of Kings, could rest and come to know this land better. Much of Thiên Ý is about art, architecture and craft — and Central Vietnam, land of song and flowers, is also about the pleasures of life.

Olivier Robine founded LOR in 2017, after a career in finance in London and Hong Kong, out of a long passion for beauty, architecture and the living continuity of traditional cultures.
Lê Thị Minh Thu, his co-founder, is a veteran of hospitality. She has shaped the quality of service, the attention to detail and the rhythm of a stay — and the understanding that a sense of place is made as much by people as by buildings.

Thiên Ý is developed and operated by LOR Vietnam, a Vietnamese family business founded in 2017 and backed in part by Hong Kong-based Sen Hong Invest Limited. LOR is active in hospitality, agriculture, culture and craft, and property development.
Creating places that are more beautiful, more harmonious, and more humane.
